Top 5 Wednesday: Books You Want to Read Before 2019

Hey guys! I’ve just had to sift through all of my unread books on Goodreads and pick out five that I want to read before the end of the year. I’ve done this post twice on my blog already and failed miserable, so my chances of succeeding at reading these books before January 2019 are super slim. But I’m going to post about it anyway! Enjoy!

A Map of Days by Ransom Riggs: So I have only just recently acquired this book as I met Ransom Riggs last week (see my previous post!) and it’s definitely a top priority read for the last stretch of 2018. It’s been two years since I read about these characters, so I am really excited we get to spend more time with them! I have heard absolutely nothing about this book, I just know they are in America. As it’s quite a hefty book I will probably read it over Christmas now.

Queen of Air and Darkness by Cassandra Clare: This book isn’t even out yet but we are so freaking close, so it had to go on this list! It comes out the fourth of December, wow! I am so, so, so excited! I left it so late to read Lord of Shadows but not with this one! As soon as I have it, I will start reading it! After that explosive and devastating ending, I really can’t wait to see what happens next!

Unravel Me by Tahereh Mafi: It is time that I finally tackled this book. I read Shatter Me two freaking years ago and I enjoyed it! Why haven’t I picked up the second book? I have no idea! I always read the first book in a series and just never continue it, it’s dumb. I am determined to get this series read so I can be excited about the other three books Tahereh is releasing and her short stories!

Strange the Dreamer: Ah, yes. Here we are again. Strange the Dreamer. I have already mentioned mid-year that I want to read this book before the end of the year and it’s making another appearance five months later! I. Will. Read. You. I will! I have never read a book by Laini Taylor and everyone says her writing is really magical. I hope it’s something that I will enjoy and hopefully you will all know by the end of 2018!

Soulbinder by Sebastien De Castell: This is the fourth book in the Spellslinger series and you’ve probably seen me gushing about these books. This is one of my favourite fantasy series at the moment, I’ve read all three books and that is shocking for me. I haven’t been this dedicated to a series in a while! I’ll be reading the fourth book soon, ready for the fifth book that comes out May 2019, woop!

Are there any books on my list that you’d definitely recommend? Any I should bump up the list? I’ll probably be cramming in as many books I can in December and over Christmas! What are some of the books you want to read before 2019? Feel free to leave a link in the comments to your post, so I can check it out! I hope you enjoyed this post and thank you so much for reading!
