Books I had to buy but are still sitting on my shelf!

Hey guys! Recently I have been browsing old top ten topics and I stumbled across this one. It seemed like a really great topic to write about! I am considering participating in these posts on Tuesday’s now instead of Top 5 Wednesday as I just think there’s better topics. Top 5 Wednesday recently has not been very good for me. Though the only thing that concerns me is that I won’t be able to pick 10 books for each topic! If you take part in this weekly meme, I’d love to hear your thoughts!

I have a 100 unread books to choose from for this, so here’s the first 10 that popped up in my head:

Legendary by Stephanie Garber: I haven’t even read Caraval yet but I had to rush to buy this because I wanted it to match the first book! All first editions had an image under the dust jacket like the first one. These books are like gold dust to come across now and they are so expensive when you do finally find out! I saw someone selling a copy of Caraval for £150 and my jaw hit the floor. So of course I had to buy this for a reasonable price and make sure it matched my copy of Caraval, in case I actually like the book!

Restore Me by Tahereh Mafi: Have I read the Shatter Me series yet? No. Did I rush out and buy this as soon as it came out? Yes! Total cover buy and I can’t wait to catch up on this series!

April Book Haul!

Hey guys! So, I have not been good this month. I am currently reading my sixth book of the month (hoping to read 7 but we will see) and I was like, yes! That’s another six books knocked off my TBR! You know what I went and did to celebrate? I bought another 5 books! I can’t even say I regret it though because they are such pretty, deserving books. But now I do feel like I have accomplished nothing with my TBR. Oh wellll! Here are the beautiful books I bought this month:

Restore Me by Tahereh Mafi: I saw this sitting in Waterstones looking all pretty and special and I just snatched it up and held onto it like it was the only copy in the world. Have I even read the Shatter Me series? No. I am just a sucker for books with pretty covers. I have no self control!

Scythe by Neal Shusterman: I have been seeing this cover everywhere and honestly I am intrigued. It sounds really good and I have been seeing great reviews for it. I wasn’t intending on buying it yet but because Restore Me had a buy one get one half price sticker I had to take advantage of that. So, naturally, when I saw Scythe with the same sticker and realised it was the only copy in the shop, that was that. It was coming home with me.

Books I’m excited for in 2018!

Hey guys! I’m a bit late to the party for this one considering one of the books on this list is already out and I own a copy now but oh well! I’m still excited for it as I am yet to read it! So here are all the books I am excited for in 2018! I may make another one later in the year as I discover more wonderful books that are coming out this year!

Queen of Air and Darkness1) Queen of Air and Darkness by Cassandra Clare

Even though I didn’t like Lord of Shadows, that doesn’t mean I’m not super excited for Queen of Air and Darkness! It’s not out until December though and I’m just like… Why? Why do we have to wait so damn long? I need it now! I want to curl up in a ball and sob and beg the publishers for a copy (I wish!). Also – just look at that gorgeous cover! How is it possible for them to make every new cover more beautiful than the last? That cover is so pretty it makes my heart hurt. Books are so beautiful!
