Review of 2021!

Hey guys! Happy New Year! Today I’ll be looking at my reading year for 2021 and seeing how I did with my goals. I hope you enjoy!

So my reading goal was 80 books and I managed to surpass it by one. It’s not as many books as the past couple of years, but considering how challenging it has been with lockdowns and all the restrictions, I’m pleased that I managed to hit my goal of 80.

2021 Reading/Blogging Resolutions!

Hey guys! Today I’ll be going over my 2021 reading resolutions and they’re pretty similar to my 2020 goals but I’ve added in a couple new ones. I’ve picked out five goals as usual and here they are:

  • Read 80 books

Let’s start with the most obvious one and that’s my reading challenge. I’ve been debating whether to increase this but I’ve decided to go with 80 books again as this is a number I’m comfortable with and I’ll still be able to enjoy reading without stressing about completing my challenge.

2020 Reading/Blogging Resolutions!

Hey guys! Today I am bringing you my 2020 reading/blogging resolutions and have chosen five goals that I want to achieve by the end of the year. I hope you enjoy!

Since I read 71 books in 2018 and 101 in 2019, I feel pretty confident about setting a much higher challenge for myself this year. Normally I start off small, like 40 books or so, but I’m going straight for 80 and who knows, I might end up hitting 100 again!

2019 Reading/Blogging Resolutions!

Hey guys! I thought it would be a good idea to set myself some reading goals for 2019 and hopefully come back to midway through the year to see how I’m doing! I’ve set myself five goals and I’m feeling pretty confident I can stick to them. Here’s my goals for 2019:

Even though I did really well in 2018, I’m still going to aim for a low number this year just incase. I don’t want to struggle to hit my target and end up stressing trying to read anything and everything. I think 40 is a nice chill number and it’ll let me relax with my reading! I don’t want reading to become a chore so a target of 40 books is fine with me.

Review of 2018!

Hey guys! I hope everyone is enjoying the first day of 2019! Today I thought I’d review 2018 as I had a pretty great year for reading. I was definitely not expecting to read as much as I did and even though it was a pretty rubbish year, I’m pleased it didn’t affect my reading. So here’s my review of 2018:

So I set a goal of 30 books at the start of the year then I gradually upped it each time I surpassed my challenge. I capped it at 60 but then ended up reading 71 books which is amazing. I am delighted with that and hoping I can manage to read the same, if not more, in 2019!

Hey guys! Hope you all had a great Christmas and New Year! So excited to be taking part in the first Top 5 Wednesday post of the year! It’s pretty self-explanatory as you can see from the title! You just talk about your 2018 reading goals so lets get into it!

I managed to read fifty books in 2017 which I am super proud of but it became less enjoyable when I started falling behind. I’d be three books behind and start panicking. So this year I want to relax more and I have given myself a target of 30 which I think is good and easy to hit. I’ll be racing against the clock less and can go at my own pace.

2017 Goals Wrap Up!

Hey guys! Bit of a spontaneous post for you all! Since we are very nearly in 2018, I thought it would be good to look back on the goals I made for 2017 and see how many of them I actually managed to complete (probably not many)! These were my goals for 2017:

I can’t believe it but I actually managed to do this, yay me! It was super hard and I’m definitely not setting such a big target for 2018. It’s just going to be too much of a struggle now with my full time job! But I am super happy I can say that I read fifty books in 2017! This is honestly a very big accomplishment for me and I am so happy with myself.

Top 5 Wednesday: 2017 Goals

Hello everyone! This is my first Top 5 Wednesday post of 2017! I have really enjoyed taking part in this the last few months and have decided to carry on taking part this year, too! I can’t wait to see other topics we can do over the coming months.

This group was created by Lainey (Gingerreadslainey) and is hosted by Sam (ThoughtsOnTomes). If you want to participate, check out the link on Goodreads here.

The topic this week focuses on 2017 goals and it can be anything from reading goals to blog/channel/Instagram goals and personal goals! Pretty much anything you want! My goals will mainly be focused on my blog and reading challenges. I’m pretty active on Instagram since I post everyday, if I set a goal for that it would probably be to take more pictures!

I set a goal of fifty books in 2016 but I only managed to read 40/50 which isn’t bad but still ten off my goal! I have set the same target again this year because I know I can easily hit 40 again so my goal this year is to try and hit 50 books!

2) Post more reviews

The past couple months I have posted very little reviews so my goal this year is to try and post a lot more. I have been reading books I haven’t felt like reviewing so I might split it more fairly this year. For example, instead of reading a chunk of books I know I’m not going to review, I’ll read a couple ones I am interested in reviewing and then switch to ones I know I definitely won’t review. Hopefully this will work!
