Books I Want to Read in 2021

Hey guys! Today I am going to be talking about some books that I want to read in 2021, mainly because I didn’t get round to them this year due to me having an uncontrollable TBR pile. I would try and sneak some of these in now, but let’s be honest it’s not going to happen. They’ll definitely be on my radar for next year though!

One of Us Is Next by Karen M. McManus: I was so excited for this to be released and I’m gutted that I didn’t get round to reading it. If you’re not familiar with One of Us Is Next, it’s the sequel to One of Us Is Lying, which is about five students going to detention, but only four of them leaving alive. I was going to read One of Us Is Next but I want to reread the first book before I do that, as I don’t remember too much of the plot. I know the sequel is set a year after the events that happened in One of Us Is Lying, so it does still tie into the first book. I would love to read it early next year!

King of Scars by Leigh Bardugo: I keep putting this one off despite really wanting to read it as I want to read the Six of Crows duology first. Everyone raves about those books but I wasn’t that keen on Six of Crows, hence why it’s taking me so long to read Crooked Kingdom and King of Scars. If you’ve read this duology and enjoyed it, please let me know because I need someone to encourage me to read it!

Six Books I Want to Read Before the End of the Year

Hey guys! Since we are rapidly approaching the end of the year, I thought I’d share with you some of the books I’m looking to cross off my TBR before 2020. I’ve heard great things about these books and I have no idea why I haven’t read some of them yet! Here’s what I’d like to read before the end of the year:

Ghosts of the Shadow Market by Cassandra Clare: I remember being really excited for this book before it even came out because it follows one of my absolute favourite characters: Jem Carstairs. I loved him in The Infernal Devices and I was so happy when reappeared in other series like The Dark Artifices. The only thing I’m worried about though is that novellas are usually a hit or miss for me. Sometimes I love them but the majority of the time I’m bored because I don’t think a lot is happening. Fingers crossed that I end up loving this!

Before we get into the unboxing, I would just like to apologise for the horrendous pictures you are about to see. Unfortunately I leave for work in the dark and come home in the dark, it sucks for things like this so I hope you don’t mind the quality of them!
