Least Favourite Books of 2017

Hey guys! This is the second wrap up post for 2017! I’ll be looking at my least favourite books and I’m sure a lot of you can guess what books will be on this list… Sorry if you don’t agree with me. If you loved these book, great! I wish I could have but sadly I really didn’t like these books!

the-chemist1) The Chemist by Stephenie Meyer

I bet you all aren’t surprised to see this book on my list and in the number one spot too! That’s right, this was my least favourite book of 2017! Sadly my review has 200+ views and I’m sure it isn’t the most popular review. I bet a lot of people hate me for writing such a negative review but I’ll survive. Believe it or not I actually really wanted to like this book as I am a huge fan of Twilight and The Host. Plus with this being a thriller about a spy I was expecting it to be awesome. It was not very exciting and if you want to know why read my review because I can’t be bothered having another rant about how much I hate this book.

January Wrap Up!

Well this month was absolutely terrible when it came to reading! I read two books… Yep. Two freaking books. And they were awful! I did not enjoy them!

the-chemist1) The Chemist by Stephenie Meyer

I just… I don’t even know where to start with this book. If you like you can read my review here but it does contain spoilers. Honestly it was one of the worst books I have ever read and I tried to write a spoiler free review but I just couldn’t. I was so angry when I was reading it and I just had to have a massive rant and take all of my anger out on my keyboard. I hated this book with a passion and I feel like Stephenie stabbed me in the back. She had the chance to write such an amazing book but instead she completely messed it up and her crime thriller became an eye-rolling romance. I would not recommend this awful book.

I thought I’d try and quickly read this so I can knock another trilogy/series off my TBR! So far it is better than the second book Ice Like Fire. I thought that book was really boring in terms of plot but this one seems quite promising so far. I will be posting a review for this as soon as I finish it! I’m hoping that will be next week as I don’t want to spend too long reading this.

September Book Haul!

This was an exciting month because I finally got all my pre-orders I’ve been waiting months for! They are going straight to the top of my TBR pile!

tales1) Tales of the Peculiar by Ransom Riggs

I am so excited to read this! It’s basically a book they refer to in Miss Peregrine’s Peculiar Children and it’s full of fairytales about the peculiar. I was so excited when I saw this and I was able to pre-order a signed copy on Waterstones! It’s absolutely gorgeous, the cover is stunning! The gold is lovely and bright, it looks magnificent on my shelf. By the way, Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children is out in cinema’s TODAY, yayayay!
