Books I Want to Read in February 2021

Hey guys! Today I am sharing with you the books I’ve picked out to read in February. Actually, I got some help from Goodreads because I couldn’t decide what to read. I’ve picked out the first three and the rest were chosen randomly by Goodreads. They are older books that I’ve had sitting on my shelf for years so that’s good that I might finally get round to them. Here’s what I’ll be reading:

A Court of Wings and Ruin by Sarah J. Maas: So this is the first book I’ll be reading and probably the one that’ll take me the longest. I’m excited to see what Feyre does and how she’ll take down the invading king, but at the same time I’m keeping my expectations low because I just know the romance between Feyre and Rhysand will be unbearable. I’m not particularly bothered about their romance and I just know “mate” will be mentioned a ridiculous amount of times. I don’t want the romance to completely take over the fantasy part and the threat of the invasion but I’m thinking it will. But I’ve come this year and I’m determined to finish this series.

A Sky Beyond The Storm by Sabaa Tahir: I think this was on my December TBR but I never ended up getting to it and then in January I was focused on reading other series. It’s time now to finish the Ember Quartet and get another series ticked off my list! I’m nervous but I’m excited to see how Sabaa wraps this series up.

Winter’s Orbit by Everina Maxwell: This was Illumicrate’s January book and I said any new books I get this year, I have to read them this year. I’m really looking forward to it actually because the cover gives me good vibes and it’s a space opera so not my usual genre. I really hope I like it!

Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo: This was the first random book Goodreads selected for me and it’s probably time that I read it with Rule of Wolves and the Shadow and Bone TV show coming out soon. I honestly don’t think I was in the mood for it the first time I read it and that’s caused me to think badly towards it. Hopefully this time round I’ll enjoy the story a lot more.

Into the Water by Paula Hawkins: This is the second random selection and I’ve been honestly putting this book off for years because everyone said it was terrible. The characters were terrible, the plot was terrible, the pacing was terrible… not good. But I didn’t want to unhaul it without giving it a chance first so here we are. Also, I think Paula has a new book coming out this year so I’d like to read this first before I decide whether or not to buy that one.

Conjuror by John & Carole Barrowman: I’ve literally had this sitting on my shelf for over four years and I’ve never read it. Like most of the older books on my TBR, I want to give it a chance and see if I actually like it because the synopsis sounds intriguing. The main character can alter reality with his music and then his friends also have supernatural powers. It sounds really cool.

This is another small TBR for this month but I’m going to need if with the sheer size of ACOWAR. What books are you looking forward to reading this month? Feel free to leave a comment below. I hope you enjoyed this post and thank you so much for reading!
