August 2019 TBR!

Hey guys! Today I am bringing you my August TBR. Even though it’s only the 2nd, I’ve already finished one book this month. I read This Savage Song by V.E. Schwab so it won’t be included it in my list below and my thoughts will be in a review soon! Here’s the rest of the books I want to read in August:

Our Dark Duet by V.E. Schwab: Since this is the sequel I can’t really say much about it but I’m curious to see where the story goes next and what else happens with Kate and August. The first book was interesting and the ending left me wanting more so let hope this delivers.

The Dark Vault by V.E. Schwab: I think this is a bind up of two novels. I have no idea what this is about but it’s Schwab so I’m reading it. I’m worried it will end on a cliffhanger though because I think she wanted to write a third book but the publisher only let her write two? So frustrating. You’ll find out my thoughts soon enough!

The Holiday by T.M. Logan: I have been waiting for this one! T.M. Logan is a relatively new author to me but he has quickly become one to watch out for. His first two books were very suspenseful and twisty so I have high hopes for this. It sounds terrifying but exciting at the same time. I have no doubt that’s it’s filled to the brim with insane twists and turns. I’ll be reading this one very soon!

Someone We Know by Shari Lapena: This was a welcome surprise because I had no idea Shari was publishing another book! She writes such compelling stories so I’m very excited to get stuck into this.

Sherlock Holmes: The Sign of Seven: I did start this in July but never finished it so I’m just carrying it over.

Finale by Stephanie Garber: Darn it. Will I ever read Finale? This must have been on my past three TBRs now? There’s a bank holiday at the end of the month…  maybe I can read it then.

So I’m feeling very pleased with my TBR for this month. These are all books I’m very excited about so hopefully — I’m looking at you Finale — I can read them all! What books do you plan on reading this month? Feel free to leave a comment below! I hope you enjoyed this post and thank you so much for reading!
