Hey guys! I’m posting my book haul a little early this month because I do not plan on acquiring anymore books this year as I have bought A LOT! I did not expect to buy this many books in December but things happened and I don’t regret buying them so it’s all good! Can you believe this is the last haul of the year? So crazy! Here’s what I picked up:
Vicious & Vengeful by V.E. Schwab: So I had no plans to buy these books any time soon but then I saw someone in the UK selling the Illumicrate edition of Vengeful for only £25. I thought that was crazy cheap and I was like I really need that in my life! So then of course I had to buy the hardback of Vicious and I’m very pleased with them both. They are so pretty!
Queen of Air and Darkness by Cassandra Clare: No one can be surprised to see this on here! Like the first two books, I bought three copies and I have zero regrets. I bought the two Waterstones editions and then a normal paperback copy from WH Smith which is the one I’ll be reading (hopefully this month!). I need to read it as soon as possible because I am meeting Cassie in February and I am ridiculously excited! She is one of the authors I have always wanted to meet and I can’t believe it will be happening in two months time!
Pretty Girls by Karin Slaughter: I bought this book ready for my buddy read with Kate over Christmas! While everyone is probably read light romances we are going full on gory! I read The Good Daughter last month and really didn’t enjoy it. I found it incredibly boring and very bizarre so I really hope Karin redeems herself with this one!
Detective Erika Foster series by Robert Bryndza: I also bought nearly an entire series (4/6 books) and this is honestly one of my new favourite crime thriller series. I love these books! Not going to say a lot about them because they will be in my December wrap up but the fact that I got them in December and have read them all already says a lot!
So I bought 10 books this month which is terrible but I have read nearly all of them already which is not so terrible! What books did you buy this month? Are you expecting any for Christmas? Feel free to leave a comment below! I hope you enjoyed this post and thank you so much for reading!
