Hey guys! I realised before I started writing this that I haven’t done a WWW Wednesday post since January! That’s crazy! I thought I’d bring it back this week and give it a little love while I update you all on what I’ve been reading recently and my plans for the rest of the month! Lets get into it!
WWW Wednesday is a meme hosted by Sam over at Taking on a World of Words.
To take part, all you have to do is answer the following questions:
- What are you currently reading?
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What do you think you’ll read next?
Currently reading:
I was sent an ARC for review by the publisher, so big thank you to them! I absolutely love the cover, it’s so beautiful and it sounds really intriguing. I love the supernatural and I love crime thrillers, so two of my favourite things in one book is awesome! I’m honestly not very far in yet so I don’t have much of an opinion but my curiosity is piqued. So far it seems good though and I can’t wait to get further in. I’m definitely interested in the supernatural side of the story. It’s only 250 pages so hopefully I’ll finish it over the next couple of days and have a review up for it soon!
Recently finished:
Twilight by Stephenie Meyer: Don’t judge me, I read Twilight this month! I didn’t have any plans weekend before last and when I was looking for something to read my brain was like, Twilight, read Twilight! So that’s what I did and you know what? I really loved it and was grinning like a goofball for the majority of it. I was worried I wouldn’t like it anymore but I was pleased to find that I actually still really loved it! I am very happy I re-read it.
The Things We Learn When We’re Dead by Charlie Laidlaw: This is different to what I normally read so I wasn’t sure what to expect going into it, but it was another book I really ended up enjoying. There was a lot of fun, quirky moments but also a lot of sad ones. I’ll have a full review up soon!
What I’ll read next:
Roar by Cora Carmack:It’s going to happen guys, I will read this book before the end of July! I plan on starting and finishing it on the weekend so hopefully you’ll see it in my wrap up post next week! Everyone keeps telling me how amazing it is and how much I’ll love it. Honestly I haven’t heard a single bad thing about this book and I’m impressed. Can’t wait to see what all the fuss is about!
Hunted by Meagan Spooner: I’m not actually sure if I will finish this before the end of the month but I’m hoping to at least start it by next week! I completely forgot this was on my TBR and only remembered when I checked my July TBR post when I was writing this… I’m excited to read it because it’s a standalone. Does that sound bad? I so rarely read standalone books these days and I miss them.
So far this month I have read 6 books and I’m hoping to squeeze in another 2! I’m very happy with how much I’ve managed to read this month as last month I only read 3 books! After falling into a little slump, I seem to have emerged a champion! Now I just need to try and blog more next month because July has been sorely neglected! What books have you read recently and what do you plan on finishing off the month with? Feel free to leave a comment below! I hope you enjoyed this post and thank you so much for reading!
