FairyLoot Unboxing: April 2018!

Hey guys! When I saw the April theme was ‘Whimsical Journeys’ and that the card had a freaking unicorn on it, I just knew I had to get it! It sounded like a fantastic box that would have some really beautiful items and I was not wrong! This is my new favourite book (previously it was March 2017 box) and it just completely blew me away! The items are stunning! Here’s what it contained (spoilers!):

Exclusive Leif’s Ship Candle (Made by Flick The Wick): This is such a cute little candle and it is themed around the featured book of the month. It’s got a really strong smell but it’s a nice smell.

Exclusive Blackjack Enamel Pin (Made by Taratjah): This is inspired by Blackjack, Percy’s friendly black pegasus, apparently. I haven’t read the Percy Jackson books but I freaking love this cute little pin! I was completely thrilled with this item! I haven’t decided what I’m going to do with it yet, but I am definitely keeping it as it’s so darn cute.

Exclusive Magical Beasts Luggage Tag (Made by Lovely Owl Books): This is clearly inspired by Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find them by J.K. Rowling and I love it! I’m actually going on holiday soon, so I am definitely going to be using this! It’s such a fun item and I haven’t seen anything like this in subscription boxes! I definitely approve of this item!

Exclusive Carpe Diem Notepad (Made by Little Inkling): This is a cute little notepad and I am going to be taking it to work with me. It features a quote from The Darkest Minds by Alexandra Bracken which I haven’t read but I want to. I really like it and can’t wait to use it!

Exclusive Fictional Places Art Print (Made by Fictiontea Designs): This is just a cool art print with some of the most popular/favourite fictional places! Pretty neat little item and it’ll sit on my bookshelf.

Bonus item: The Fates Divide bookmark: Nothing really to say about this, it’s a bookmark! I will be using it for my books.

Exclusive Reusable Narnia Narnia Coffee Mug (Made by Ink and Wonder): How freaking beautiful is this travel mug? It was literally speechless when I pulled it out of the box. The detailing is amazing and I am just in awe. I can’t wait to use this! I am torn between this and the next item being my favourite! They are both so beautiful!

Just two more appreciation pictures for this freaking beautiful travel mug!

Exclusive Adventure Tote Bag (Made by Stella’s Bookish Art): This tote bag is absolutely beautiful! Again, I am in awe at the detailing and the amazing colours. It’s just so beautiful and I can’t even describe how happy I am with this. Like this item has gone above and beyond my expectations and I can’t wait to use this in public for all to see! It features the quote from The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien!

Bonus item: Ace of Shades button: I have decided that I will not be reading Ace of Shades because I just don’t think it is something I will like but this pin is very cool!

Beyond a Darkened Shore by Jessica Leake: Lastly, this incredibly stunning book! I have not heard of this book before and I am so glad it came in this months box! First words out of my mouth when I saw this cover… “Wow” I was breathless. The cover is incredible! This edition has exclusive gold foiling on the cover and it makes the book look so pretty! It’s a stand-alone book as well, yay! I love stand-alone books! It’s billed with Celtic and Norse mythology. I’m excited, I hope it is good! Also, spine beauty!

I love how the letter from the author is actually like an Art print, it looks so cool! I always find it boring when the letter is stuck on a white piece of paper. Turning it into a proper Art card is so cool! Thank you to the publisher, points for you!

You also got a sticker with the book and it’s so cool! I might stick it inside the book but I’m not sure yet! Also took a picture of the back cover but I don’t know if you can see it, sorry.

So hopefully you can see why I really loved this box! It was absolutely jam-packed this month! I thought it had a lot of items and they were definitely well worth the £32 I paid (including shipping)! This is honestly one of the best subscription boxes out there and if you haven’t bought a box before, please do buy one! You won’t regret it!

    I absolutely loved this box!

As you, I don’t really know what to do with the pin but it’s so pretty.. I’ve seen some ideas pass by, one of which really stood out to me: To simply make some kind of wall decoration out of fabric and fill it with pins. I believe that could totally work and be a beautiful eye-catcher, no? [I might just look into it more, haha.]
