Hey guys! Welcome to another WWW Wednesday post! Haven’t done one of these in a while so thought I’d just give you all an update on what I’m currently reading and what I plan on reading next, so you can see what reviews will be coming up on my blog! Lets get into it!
WWW Wednesday is a meme hosted by Sam over at Taking on a World of Words.
To take part, all you have to do is answer the following questions:
- What are you currently reading?
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What do you think you’ll read next?
This was very kindly sent to me for review by Orion Publishing Group. Only fifty pages in so far so haven’t really formed an opinion yet but it is interesting. It flips between the past and the present and it’s from the perspective of Naomi Cottle who finds missing children and Madison Culver who has been missing for three years and is presumed dead. That’s all I have so far because the synopsis doesn’t really give too much away! It’s quite short so hoping to finish it on the weekend!
This was the last book I read and if you’ve read my review then you’ll know I didn’t think it was great… It was very confusing to follow and had too many characters, in my opinion. Everything just felt overly complicated and I felt like Sasha and Lindsay were constantly try to WOW me with their writing. I honestly wanted them to chill and tone it down a bit, I wasn’t impressed. The only thing I did like was that I couldn’t tell who wrote what so they write really well together. Will I read the second book? Probably not, no.
What I’ll read next:
I was sent an ARC of this from Titan Books and I am so excited! I read the synopsis and just saw the word “serial killer” and I was like HELL YES! Books about serial killers are just so exciting and thrilling. This one sounds intriguing and I can’t wait to start reading it! All I know about it so far is that Kate Wolfe is the main character and sixteen years ago, her younger sister Savannah was brutally murdered. I think she believes the killer is behind bars but then it actually comes out Savannah’s killer is actually a serial killer who still walks free? As she hunts for a killer, a killer is also hunting her, ooooh! Scary! It’s a psychological thriller which makes it even more exciting. They really mess with you!
So these are the wonderful books currently swirling around in my mind. I normally have way more books including in this post but I have actually fallen a little behind on my reading lately. Hopefully I can catch up with it soon! What books are you currently reading? Anything exciting? Feel free to leave a comment below! I hope you enjoyed this post and thank you so much for reading!
