Oliver Marks has just served ten years for a murder he may or may not have committed. On the day he’s released, he’s greeted by the detective who put him in prison. Detective Colborne is retiring, but before he does, he wants to know what really happened a decade before.

As a young actor at an elite arts conservatory, Oliver noticed that his talented classmates seem to play the same roles onstage and off – villain, hero, tyrant, temptress – though Oliver felt doomed to always be a secondary character. But when the teachers change the casting, a good-natured rivalry turns ugly, and the play spills dangerously over into life.

When tragedy strikes, one of the seven friends is found dead. The rest face their greatest acting challenge yet: convincing the police, and themselves, that they are blameless…

1) Best book you’ve read so far in 2017

You all know how much I loved this book! It exceeded all of my expectations and stomped out any doubts I had over the Shakespearian parts! I don’t like Shakespeare but for this book I loved it! Amazing, amazing, amazing!

Book Recommendations: Crime Thrillers!

Hey guys! I haven’t done a book recommendation post for a while, so I thought why not share with you all some of my favourite crime thrillers? I can’t get enough of them recently and would love to recommend some to you! So without further ado, lets get into it!

Follow Me Down1) Follow Me Down by Sherri Smith

I bloody loved this book! As soon as I saw this I was like damn, I need this book in my life. That cover is beautiful and the white and red font is so striking together. The writing was amazing and I definitely want this author to write more books because she had me on the edge of my seat! This book was full of so many frightening twists, I predicted nothing. She literally got me feeling so many emotions! I was angry at other characters, sad for the main character and frustrated for the situation she was in. The ending blew me away. I never saw it coming! This book exceeded all of my expectations and blew them out of the water. READ IT!

Book Series I Need To Finish!

Hey guys! I’m doing a different post for Wednesday rather than my usual Top 5 Wednesday or WWW Wednesday post. I haven’t been interested in any of the recent Top 5 Wednesday posts and I have fallen a little behind on my reading so there’s no point doing a WWW Wednesday post this week. I still wanted to post something though so here we are! I am sharing my unfinished series with you all and I hope you enjoy! I am only doing completed series though because if I did uncompleted ones the list would be never ending!

1) The Raven Cycle by Maggie Stiefvater

So far I have only read the first book in The Raven Cycle series by Maggie Stiefvater. I started the second book and I was really enjoying it but for some reason I put it down and didn’t pick it back up again?? I find myself doing that quite a lot! I just need to find time to sit down and read it solidly for a good few hours. I have heard so many great things about this series so I will be finishing it!

June TBR!

Hey guys! My TBR this month is a mixture of books but they are ones I am dying to read! I’ll be reading another book and every so often my eyes will wander and I’ll find myself staring at these ones so I just had to have them on my TBR pile for June!

Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood & Assassin’s Creed: The Secret Crusade by Oliver Bowden: I have been eyeing these books up all month and I’m finally going to read them because I really can’t wait any longer! I really loved the first one so I’m eager to continue this series and I’m especially looking forward to Altair’s book because I really love him. Hopefully it won’t disappoint!

May Wrap Up!

Hey guys! I read five books this month and I am incredibly happy with that! I have loved every single book I’ve read! Some of the books I read were very random and spontaneous. I read a couple books on my TBR but then I also read some books I wasn’t planning on reading.

If We Were Villains1) If We Were Villains by M.L. Rio

I really loved this book! It was such a dark and twisted story. I knew from the synopsis that a character died and right from the start I was trying to read the characters thinking is it you? Are you the one who dies? When I reached that part of the book, I was so freaking shocked! I would never have predicted that, I actually thought quite the opposite. It was such a great twist and it was really interesting how the other characters reacted to that characters death. It’s funny because they are all actors so they can hide their true emotions behind a mask since they are used to doing that anyway. Such a great idea for a story. I can’t wait to post my full review this month! I just need to get all my thoughts and feelings down!
