WWW Wednesday is a meme hosted by Sam over at Taking on a World of Words. It’s a really quick, easy and fun post to do!
To take part, all you have to do is answer the following questions:

The Chemist by Stephenie Meyer! I finished Ragdoll by Daniel Cole a few days before Christmas (review coming soon) and I really didn’t want to read any other books my mind was completely set on The Chemist. I have been carrying it around everywhere with me and I am really enjoying it so far. I am so happy Stephenie has brought out a new book and good for her for trying new things! I will wholeheartedly support any book she writes and I am so excited to get properly into this because at the minute I’m not very far in. I can’t wait to write a review on it, too!
She used to work for the U.S. government, but very few people ever knew that. An expert in her field, she was one of the darkest secrets of an agency so clandestine it doesn’t even have a name. And when they decided she was a liability, they came for her without warning.
Now she rarely stays in the same place or uses the same name for long. They’ve killed the only other person she trusted, but something she knows still poses a threat. They want her dead, and soon.
When her former handler offers her a way out, she realises it’s her only chance to erase the giant target on her back. But it means taking one last job for her ex-employers. To her horror, the information she acquires makes her situation even more dangerous.
Resolving to meet the threat head-on, she prepares for the toughest fight of her life but finds herself falling for a man who can only complicate her likelihood of survival. As she sees her choices being rapidly whittled down, she must apply her unique talents in ways she never dreamed of.
In this tautly plotted novel, Stephenie Meyer creates a fierce and fascinating new heroine with a very specialised skill set. And she shows once again why she’s one of the world’s bestselling authors.
I devoured Ragdoll by Daniel Cole in no time at all! It was a very enjoyable read and full of a lot of interesting twists. I really liked all of the characters and I love how it slowly unravelled everything, especially Wolf’s past and his character. It all linked together nicely at the end and everything fell into place. I think it will be a series because it ends on a cliffhanger so I’m excited to see where this story is going and what will happen next. Wolf is a really interesting character and I really liked him, there’s so many different layers to his character, like several people crammed into one body. There were some things I disliked about this book but I will go into that in more detail in my review.
A body is discovered with the dismembered parts of six victims stitched together like a puppet, nicknamed by the press as the ‘ragdoll’.
Assigned to the shocking case are Detective William ‘Wolf’ Fawkes, recently reinstated to the London Met, and his former partner Detective Emily Baxter.
The ‘Ragdoll Killer’ taunts the police by releasing a list of names to the media, and the dates on which he intends to murder them
What I’ll read next:
Hopefully I will finally read Unravel Me by Tahereh Mafi! For some reason I can’t read this! I keep picking it up and getting like two pages in before putting it down and moving on to another book! Crazy, I know, but I can’t be the only person who does this with books? I really want to read more about Warner and Juliette they seem like really great characters!
Juliette has escaped from The Reestablishment. Now she’s free from their plan to use her as a weapon and free to love Adam. But there is one thing she will never be free from – her lethal touch. Or from Warner, who wants Juliette more than she ever thought possible. Haunted by her past and terrified of her future, Juliette knows that she will have to make some life-changing choices. Choices that may involve choosing between her heart – and Adam’s life.
What books are you planning on ending 2017 with? Mine will most likely be The Chemist because it’s quite long and I can’t see myself finishing it by the end of the year! Crazy how close 2017 is! Hope you have all had a great year/month!
