I am so excited for this weeks topic! We finally get to give the publishers some love for putting out our favourite books! A lot of my favourite books come from the same publishers and I’m so happy to be able to give them some love and thank them for working tirelessly to give us these books! I hope you enjoy this post!
Simon & Schuster
Simon & Schuster is my absolute favourite publisher because they are always publishing books from my favourite authors and constantly introducing me to new ones. I have a lot of books on my shelf courtesy of Simon & Schuster. Plus they design really amazing and eye-catching covers! Just look at those covers, I’m in love!
The first books I ever read by Walker Books was the Alex Rider books by Anthony Horowitz. I was completely hooked on this series when I was in high school and it really got me more into Young Adult books! I only just noticed when I was thinking about this post that they also introduced me to the wonderful Shadowhunter books by Cassandra Clare who is one of my favourite authors and my auto-buy author! So much love for Walker Books for introducing me to these amazing series and I can’t wait to see more books they publish for us!
I am in love with Razorbill for publishing these stunning books! I devoured An Ember in the Ashes and was left wanting more of Bo and his life in A World Without You. I recently purchased Falling Kingdoms and I am super excited to delve into this world of kingdoms and magic! I was surprised by how many books I have sitting on my shelf that were published by Razorbill and can’t thank them enough for letting me get my hands on them. Best books ever.
I noticed that I have quite a few books by Scholastic on my shelf too and these are the ones that stood out most for me! Such gorgeous covers and amazing books too!
I had to include HarperCollins because I was obsessed with the Divergent books when they first came out! Veronica Roth is an amazing writer and I can’t thank them enough for publishing her trilogy! I also noticed that they published Flawed by Cecelia Ahern which is another dystopian book! I haven’t read Demon Road yet but I wanted to include it because it sounds awesome and a lot like the tv show Supernatural! I can’t wait to read it and hopefully I won’t be disappointed because I love the books HarperCollins publishes!
There are so many other publishers I’d love to acknowledge: Atom, Doubleday, Bloomsbury, Penguin… I could go on and on because I have so much love for them and the books that they publish. Thank you so much for all the hard work you do to bring us these awesome books! Who are some of your favourite publishers? Feel free to leave a link to your post in the comments!
