Pokémon GO Book Tag!

Hey everyone! I was tagged to do this by Lisa over at LisaInWonderlandx! Thank you so much, Lisa! I absolutely love Pokémon I used to watch it all the time as a kid, so this should be fun!

I can’t really remember the first book that started my love for reading. I have always been a huge reader, I remember my dad taking me to the library and I just completely stocked up on Roald Dahl’s books! Other books I read were My Secret Unicorn before finding, and falling completely in love with, Jacqueline Wilson’s beautiful creations. I was like a moth drawn to a flame, I bought book after book she published.

Pokemon

The Hound of the Baskervilles by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. I love the Sherlock Holmes books so much and this one was a definite favourite.

Zubat

Probably Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell. I was curious about it at first but it’s not had great reviews and now I get increasingly annoyed whenever I see the cover. I don’t think I’ll ever read it to be honest.

Pokemon

Possibly Flawed by Cecelia Ahern because it’s one female character who’s against society and fighting for everyone else. I think we have all seen similar books to this already but Flawed was so amazing and had it’s own unique ideas so I’m happy.

Pokemon

Definitely Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas. Each new book that comes out in the series is bigger than the last! I keep putting them off even though I really want to read them.

gengar

This one is, without a doubt, Allegiant by Veronica Roth! I was determined to finish it, I think I read nearly the whole book in a day. Unfortunately I was spoiled the ending on Twitter which really annoyed me, especially since I was reading Insurgent at the time! The closer I got to the end, the more determined I was to reach that particular scene. I stayed up so late reading it and yes, it completely destroyed me.

nidokingqueen

JEM AND TESSA FROM THE INFERNAL DEVICES! Sorry for the capitals but I just wanted to scream my love to you all for Jem and Tessa! I seriously love them together, they are so adorable and cute and I die every time I read a scene with them. My favourite people ever. Love them. So much.

I didn’t even have to think about this, it came to me straight away. For me, this was definitely The Scorch Trials by James Dashner. I love his books so much because his writing is so intense and he just throws stuff at you left, right and centre. I loved The Scorch Trials so, so, so much. I was completely and utterly hooked on it. He became one of my favourite authors after reading The Maze Runner trilogy.

Pokemon

Cassandra Clare’s dreamy Shadowhunter books for sure. She first introduced us to this beautiful world with The Mortal Instruments. Then we got The Infernal Devices and most recently The Dark Artifices. She has also announced another series called The Last Hours. I am so in love with her writing and her books I will literally buy anything she writes.

Pokemon

I had to read so many books for university and one of the modules in my first year wasn’t great… I wasn’t impressed with a lot of the books. But then we got introduced to Philip Pullman’s The Dark Materials and let me tell you, these books are magical. I absolutely adored them and I’m so glad we read them. Too bad the film was a bit of a let down, it did not do these books justice. They deserved so much better.

Pokemon

Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard. I’ve heard a lot of people say this book is overhyped and I’ve seen some terrible reviews for it but it has not put me off. I am still excited to read this and nothing can put me off it. The cover is gorgeous and I just need to know what these books are about.

Pokemon

I don’t really know what to say for this one… Probably Cassandra Clare’s Collector’s First Edition of Clockwork Princess? I saw this and I just dreamily stroked the computer screen wishing it was mine. Other than that, I don’t really know as I haven’t seen a collector’s edition recently.

Pokemon

Weregirl by C.D. Bell because I recently read an ARC and it was amaaaazing! It comes out in November so I am excited to own a physical copy of it!

Pokemon

James Dashner for sure. I will buy anything he writes, I love his books!

POkemon

Speaking of James Dashner… I have been waiting forever for The Fever Code! Since the day it was announced and it comes out next month, help! I am so freaking excited I just need this book in my life.

I hope you enjoyed this tag and thank you so much for reading it! Let me know if you want to see more tags like this and if this is something you would like to do, consider yourself tagged!

Thank you! You should read A Court of Mist and Fury too! I mean, I rated book 1 as 3/5 but book 2 is just a mind blowing 5/5 stars for me! I hope you enjoy it as well when you read it. 😀

Well take my word for it, because I’m not a fan of YA and I absolutely dote on the book. Haha!
